EU technical expert group on sustainable finance publish handbook on climate benchmarks and benchmarks' ESG disclosures

On 20 December 2019, the EU technical expert group on sustainable finance (TEG) published a handbook on climate benchmarks and benchmarks' environmental, social and governance (ESG) disclosures (the Handbook).

The Handbook follows on from the publication of the TEG final report on Climate benchmarks and benchmarks' ESG disclosures, which was published in September 2019. The Handbook includes the TEG's responses to a number of frequently asked questions which the TEG have been asked and includes clarificatory guidance in relation to various matters, including ESG disclosures.
