The LMA, APLMA and LSTA update the Sustainability-Linked Loan Principles and accompanying Guidance on Sustainability-Linked Loan Principles

On 3 March 2022, the LMA, APLMA and LSTA updated the Sustainability-Linked Loan Principles and accompanying Guidance on Sustainability-Linked Loan Principles.

The amendments include the addition of references to the new Guidance on Social Loan Principles and Guidance for Green, Social and Sustainability-Linked Loans External Reviews, and address some small inconsistencies in the drafting, as well as hyphenating “Sustainability” and “Linked” to align with Sustainability-Linked Bonds, as published by the International Capital Markets Association.
