Network for Greening the Financial System publishes progress report on global supervisory and central bank climate scenario exercises
19 October 2021On 19 October 2021, the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) published a progress report setting out how 31 NGFS members are using climate scenarios to identify, assess and understand climate risks in relation to their economies and financial systems.
The report highlights, amongst other things, the rapidly growing number of central banks and supervisors that are conducting climate scenario analysis, current methodologies being used, and the challenges being faced internationally.
