​NGFS publishes refined set of climate scenarios for climate risk assessments

The Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) has published a revised issue of the climate scenarios and a dedicated website, both aimed at fostering the integration of climate-related risks into the work of central banks and supervisors, and beyond.

It will provide a generic starting point for those seeking to analyze the climate risks to the economy and financial system. The scenarios explore key themes including decarbonisation within electricity; innovative technologies to minimise hard-to-abate emissions and improved efficiency when utilszing resources.
