European Commission adopts EU Taxonomy Climate Delegated Act
04 June 2021On 4 June 2021, the European Commission formally adopted Commission Delegated Regulation supplementing the Taxonomy Regulation ((EU) 2020/85) on sustainable activities for climate change adaptation and mitigation objectives (the Climate Delegated Act). This follows the political agreement being reached on the Climate Delegated Act on 21 April 2021.
The Climate Delegated Act will enter into force twenty days after its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union, and will apply from 1 January 2022.
