Equator Principles Association endorses OECD's Good Practice Note for Environmental and Social Agents

28 May 2021

The Equator Principles Association (EPA) has published a press release announcing that it has endorsed the recently released Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Good Practice Note for Environmental and Social Agents (the Note).

The Note provides an overview of good practice for banks, Export Credit Agencies or other entities acting in the role of Environmental and Social Agents on behalf of a lending group. It does not set any new requirements for Equator Principles Financial Institutions (EPFIs) but, in situations where it would be helpful, the EPA encourages EPFIs to use the Note to help promote greater effectiveness and consistency.
