Bank of England speech on the time to push ahead on tackling climate change

The Bank of England (BoE) has published a speech by Andrew Bailey, Governor of the BoE, explaining what is being done to ensure the financial system plays its part to tackle climate change.

In his speech, Andrew Bailey highlighted the importance of tackling climate change, stating that the risks are even bigger and more complex to manage than the financial crisis and the Covid-19 pandemic, but that acting now will give the best opportunity to manage those risks.
