European Commission publishes roadmap on delegated regulation on taxonomy-related disclosures by undertakings reporting non-financial information
28 July 2020The European Commission has published for consultation a roadmap (the Roadmap) on a delegated regulation on taxonomy-related disclosures by undertakings reporting non-financial information, which supplements the Taxonomy Regulation ((EU) 2020/852).
The delegated act specifies the requirements for entities subject to the Non-financial Reporting Directive (NFDR), including large listed undertakings, large banks and large insurance undertakings with more than 500 employees to publish information on how and to what extent their activities are associated with the EU taxonomy. The Commission intends to adopt the delegated regulation in the second quarter of 2021.
The deadline for responses is 8 September 2020.
