Pan-African ESG Discussion Series – Introduction to the African Loan Markets

The LMA, in conjunction with its pan-African ESG Think-Tank, is pleased to announce the launch of a new education series focused on sustainable finance in African loan markets.

During the course of this series, we shall discuss sustainable finance practices across the African continent and how these align with the Green, Social and Sustainability-Linked Loan Principles; regulatory initiatives in each of the regions; and how we might better drive uptake of sustainable finance solutions.

In the first of the series, we are delighted to be joined by the ENSafrica team, who will be providing an insight into the sustainable finance practices in Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, Rwanda, Uganda, Namibia, and South Africa respectively as well as identifying potential areas for collaboration and synergy between different African jurisdictions.
