Loan Documentation Certificate Course

The Loan Documentation Certificate Course is a four-day programme focused on providing a more in-depth understanding of the principles behind the LMA’s facility agreements.  The programme is based on a case study with a focus on a cross-over credit (incorporating elements of the English law investment grade and leveraged facilities agreements).  As part of the programme there will be workshop exercises to discuss a borrower mark-up and common negotiation points.

The course is limited to 35 participants in order to encourage interaction.  This course is aimed at those working within financial institutions, borrowers and the legal profession who are either relatively new to, or are looking to enhance, their understanding of the LMA’s facility agreements and principles behind them.

Payment & cancellation

The course fee is £1,200 (plus VAT), which includes course materials, refreshments, lunch and a networking drinks reception. Payment is expected in advance of attendance.

Our invoices for the course fee will be raised 6 weeks in advance of the course, and Joining Instructions will be sent out approximately 2 weeks before the start of the course.

Please do advise at your earliest convenience if you are no longer able to attend, as once we have raised your invoice, we will not be able to issue a refund. Those who cancel their attendance on/after Tuesday, 12 December 2023 will be eligible for the full cost of the course. After this time, a substitute delegate can be nominated prior to the start of the course.

Joining the course

Please note that by registering for this course, you will be expected to attend in person. This is not a virtual course.

You will receive detailed joining instructions approximately 2 weeks before the course starts, which will include the course timings and how to travel to the venue.
