Transition from LIBOR in the Loan Market – Update

Transition from LIBOR in the Loan Market – Update

Despite the current market disruption being caused by Covid-19, the central assumption remains that firms cannot rely on LIBOR being published after the end of 2021. Although there has recently been some movement in interim milestones with a clear recognition of the challenging operating environment, work on LIBOR transition continues with transactions being executed and market participants engaging and taking action to help support the transition.

This webinar, presented by Kam Mahil and Keith Taylor of the LMA, provides an update on transition since the previous webinar in January 2020. In particular, it covers the following key topics:

  • Where are we now on transitioning from LIBOR?
  • Update on current 'loan market' transition issues
  • What should loan market participants be doing?
