Regulations Evening Seminar & Networking Drinks, 30 April 2026..

Join us on 30 April 2026 for the Loan Market Association’s first-ever seminar in Brussels — a landmark moment in our engagement with EU institutions and stakeholders.

Taking place in the heart of Brussels, this inaugural seminar will bring together policymakers, regulators and market participants for an evening of high-level discussion on the EU’s evolving financial services agenda.

The seminar will open with a welcome address by LMA CEO Scott McMunn, who will offer a perspective on the LMA’s strategic role within the current regulatory landscape. This will be followed by a high-level keynote address from DG FISMA (European Commission), reflecting on current regulatory developments. Finally, an expert panel including Anne Wrobel (FCA) will focus on securitisation and its role in strengthening European capital markets and financing the real economy.

With key policy initiatives and discussions happening, including on securitisation, non-bank financial intermediation (NBFI), CRD VI implementation, SFDR developments and the debate on banks’ competitiveness, this is a timely opportunity to hear directly from leading voices and engage in informed dialogue at the heart of EU policymaking.

Registration will open at 16:00 alongside a welcome coffee, and the seminar will commence promptly at 16:30. The sessions will conclude at 18:00 and the evening will conclude with networking and drinks in a central and convivial setting.

Attendance for LMA members is free of charge however please note that member places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to pre-assigned member quotas, which vary by event depending on popularity and venue capacity. This ensures that all member organisations have the opportunity to be represented at the event.
