The LMA is pleased to be holding an early evening seminar in live, in-person format, in Amsterdam on 4 November 2021. The seminar will consist of a panel discussion on "The post-COVID loan markets: Dutch and international trends", which will cover:

  • State of play: Financial markets update and outlook
  • How did they do it: Case study: shaking off COVID impact on financing
  • The end of LIBOR: Lender and Borrower approach to LIBOR discontinuation
  • ESG is hot: Increasing momentum in sustainability-linked financing

The seminar will be hosted by De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. The panel will be chaired by Niek Biegman (Partner, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek) who will be joined by:

  • Christian Savvides (Global Co-head Debt Advisory, Rothschild & Co),
  • Jan-Piet Valk (CFO Boels Rental),
  • Wouter Biewinga (Director Loan Capital Markets, ING Bank) and
  • Bas Boutellier (Senior Associate, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek).

Registration and refreshments will open at 16.15 CET, with the seminar starting at 17.00 CET. The seminar finishes at 18.00 CET and is followed by a drinks reception open to all attendees.

This seminar will naturally be dependent on any new restrictions that are imposed regarding events, but we are keen to gauge the level of interest from delegates for this in-person event.
