Cancellation policy for LMA non-chargeable documentation training, conferences and seminars in the UK and overseas
Now that the majority of LMA events are free of charge to members, it is important that we are informed promptly if you are unable to attend an event which you have registered for. This is to ensure that:
- your place may be offered to someone else on the wait list who would like to attend; and
- the LMA does not incur venue and catering costs in respect of any no-shows.
The following new cancellation policy has therefore been introduced:
If, on any two occasions within a 12 month period, you cancel your place either within 48 hours prior to a documentation training event and/or within 24 hours prior to a seminar or conference, or do not turn up for an event which you have registered for, you will automatically not be eligible to attend any other LMA event (including Early Evening Seminars and our annual London Conference) for the next 12 months.
This policy does not apply to the Certificate, Lawyer Syndication or Financial Covenants courses, or our UK and overseas Early Evening Seminar.
LMA Certificate Course
The course fee is £1,850 (plus VAT), which covers all tuition, lunches, refreshments and course materials. Payment must be made in advance of attendance.
Delegates can cancel free of charge up until 6 weeks prior to the course date by providing written notice to melissa.vesin@lma.eu.com. After this date, payment of the full cost of the course will become due and payable. A substitute delegate can be nominated prior to the start of the course or, in exceptional circumstances, a delegate can be switched to a later course, subject to us being able to find a replacement.
LMA Syndicated Loans Course for Lawyers
The cost per delegate is £950 (plus VAT), which covers all tuition, lunches, refreshments and course materials. Payment is expected in advance of attendance.
Delegates can cancel free of charge up until 6 weeks prior to the course date by providing written notice to melissa.vesin@lma.eu.com. LMA Documentation Certificate Course
The cost per delegate is £1,150 (plus VAT), which covers all tuition, lunches, refreshments and course materials.
Payment is expected in advance of attendance. Delegates can cancel free of charge up until 6 weeks prior to the course date.
After this date, delegates will be eligible for the full cost of the course. A substitute delegate can be nominated prior to the start of the course or, in exceptional circumstances, a delegate can be switched to a later course, subject to us being able to find a replacement.
