We were pleased to return to Johannesburg this year for our annual South Africa Syndicated Loans Conference on 12 July 2016 at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton.
This event, which was free to members of the LMA, was open to all professionals operating in the syndicated (and wider corporate) loan markets in South Africa. This all-day conference had a specific focus on the syndicated loan markets in the region and in Sub-Saharan Africa more broadly. Speakers consisted of senior market practitioners from local and pan-African commercial banks, as well as non-bank investors, advisors and law firms active in the region.
The conference consisted of a series of panels and presentations provided by a variety of senior loan market professionals, spanning different sectors and locations and covering a wide range of different issues and challenges impacting the loan market in South Africa and the wider African region.
