Scottish Government Consultation on Energy Efficient Homes

The Scottish Government recently launched a consultation which sought views on its proposals to set a minimum standard for energy efficiency for owner-occupied homes and to make it mandatory for homeowners selling or renovating from 2024 onwards to comply with this.

The consultation documents sets out what this minimum standard for energy efficiency would look like and how the Scottish Government intends to help homeowners to meet this target.

The consultation closed on 26 March 2020.
