London Early Evening Seminar

We are holding an evening seminar in London on 23 October 2017 entitled "FCA / European Commission competition enforcement – focus on loan market", which will cover:

• Competition regulators are looking closely at the wider loan market
• The FCA has recently carried out a number of “on notice” procedures against companies in this sector, putting financial institutions active in the loan market under the spotlight
• The European Commission has launched a study into syndicated lending in various countries around Europe, with the aim of finding out if a further – in-depth – holistic review is required
• This seminar will cover competition law enforcement trends – both in the UK (based on the FCA’s approach to date) and at the Commission (with an overview of what to expect and the issues that may be covered in the study) – and practical tools for compliance and dealing with competition law issues generally.

Registration and refreshments will open at 16.15 hrs, with the seminar starting at 17.00 hrs. The seminar finishes at 18.00 hrs and is followed by a drinks reception open to all attendees.
