Hengeler Mueller, Bockenheimer Landstraße 24, 60323 Frankfurt, Germany

The LMA will be holding an Early Evening Seminar in Frankfurt on 22 November at the premises of Hengeler Mueller.

The seminar is will cover hot legal topcis impacting the German Syndicated Loan Market. In particular, it will cover:

  • Recent judgments of the German Federal Supreme Court regarding upfront fees and the way how to solve the uncertainties triggered by these judgements;
  • Do we still need limitation language and if yes, why?
  • Would it be useful to have arbitration clauses in finance documents?
  • The next crisis may be coming – would it not be better, at least in highly leveraged structures, to have majority voting provisions which would also permit a cram down?

Speaking will be Johannes Tieves and Nikolaus Vieten, both Partners at Hengeler Mueller.

The event is free of charge and open to LMA Members only. Registration will open at 4.30 pm. The seminar will start at 5.00 pm, will be presented in English and will last approx 60 minutes. The seminar will close with a drinks reception to which all attendees are welcome to join.
