Amsterdam Evening Seminar

We will be holding our inaugural Early Evening Seminar in Amsterdam on 28 September at the premises of De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.

The seminar is entitled "Recent trends and developments in the Dutch and international loan markets".

A continuing flow of (geo)political and macro-economic developments has hit global markets over the last year, from governmental debt crises, the Euro crisis, central bank purchasing programmes, negative interest rates, the slowing down of the Chinese economy to Brexit. This seminar will discuss recent trends and developments in the Dutch and international loan markets and how these external factors are affecting loan terms, documentation, event opportunities and transaction volumes. It will feature views from those who lend to, advise and execute transactions for participants in the syndicated loan market.

Speaking will be:

• Gerro Goedhuis Head of Western European Corporates ING, Syndicated Finance. Gerro and his teams (based in Amsterdam and London) are looking after all syndicated loan transactions for corporate borrowers in Western Europe.
• Christian Savvides, Managing Director, Co-Head of European Debt, Rothschild. Christian is responsible for Rothschild’s debt advisory business - advising corporate and institutional clients across the credit spectrum.
• Menno Stoffer, Partner De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. Menno advises both borrowers and lenders on banking and financing transactions.
